Q: Looking towards 2010 - what design trend do you think we will be seeing?

A: More casual and simplistic furniture pieces, but with plenty of sophistication and a variety of color palettes from soothing to lively.

Q: What design style do you enjoy the most?

A: That would be directed by the client I am working with at the moment, whether, it be Metropolitan Classic, Modern, or basic Traditional. I enjoy a variety of looks and don't limit myself to one particular style.

Q: When beginning a project, what is the first thing you do to prepare?

A: Consult with clients to learn their specific needs, style, and color preferences, also select and review photos of different room settings to ensure that their ideas and mine are the same.

Q: What function do you feel that a rug serves in an overall design?

A: A great rug is one of the most essential elements of any room whether it be Contemporary or a Turkish Oushak, it anchors and defines the space.

Q: What's your favorite part of your job?

A: Obviously the lasting friendships with the clients is very special and the end result of seeing the project come full circle.
